Italian brands The Lavazza GT-R unveiled, Simbol Design has some pictures and specifications for the new super sports car. Simbol Design has created this impressive new V12 supercar producing 620 hp while weighing a mere 2380 lbs. This gives the car an exceptional power to weight ratio of 3.8 lb.

Lavazza GTX-R body made of carbon-Kevlar built atop a tubular steel frame. And since German powerplants have emerged as the new crate engine of choice for niche manufacturers from Spyker and Wiesmann to Gumpert and Pagani, the Lavazza packs a BMW-sourced 5.4-liter V12, picking up Lamborghini's tractor-origins mantle with an electro-pneumatic transmission reportedly sourced from a bus. Sources differ on the engine's output – alternately claiming 489 horsepower or 620 – but either way, 0-60 mph times quoted around the four-and-a-half second sound conservative.

PPI RAZOR Audi R8 GTR-10 Limited Editio

The Audi specialist turned its focus on optimising the power-to-weight ratio of the Audi R8 while simultaneously strengthening the motor, increasing performance, improving handling dynamics, and managing to reduce the weight of the Audi R8. The end result is a culmination of knowledge from the past year in research and development to create a truly inspired production car; the RAZOR GTR-10. This vehicle will be available to only 10 select individuals.

Luxury Sports Cars: Stories: Pagani Zonda S repair bill

 

One of Britain's largest insurance companies is paying through its teeth as an insurance claim for one luxury sports car has come in at a record-breaking (for the company at least) £300,000. The car in question is the Pagani Zonda S which is a £500,000 two seater luxury sports car.

The Pagani Zonda S was badly damaged by a clearly inexperienced driver who lost control of it on a test run on a country lane near Glasgow. The collision ended leaving the face of the Pagani Zonda S in a poll and a fence.

The car insurance company question is Aviva and they have decided that the car is not beyond repair so have decided to have it shipped back to Modena, Italy where only 10 Pagani Zonda S’ are made in a year. Materials such as titanium and aluminium are used in this luxury sports car and Aviva said in a statement: "It's the biggest repairs payout we've seen."
